Dr. Chika Galega-Sabum,
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, BSN, RN, BS, LCDC
Dr. Chika Galega-Sabum, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner currently accepting patients aged 18 and older. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Cincinnati and has a background in psychology.
Dr. Galega-Sabum specializes in Medication Management, Psychiatric Evaluations, Psychotherapy, Anxiety, ADHD, Depression, Trauma, Substance Use Disorders, Alcohol Dependency, Grief, Eating Disorders, and Survivors of Sexual, Physical, and Emotional Abuse and more. She takes a holistic, evidence-based approach, addressing both symptoms and underlying causes of mental health and substance use concerns.
Committed to personalized, patient-centered care, she works closely with individuals to develop treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and lifestyles. Passionate about mental health and addiction recovery, Dr. Galega-Sabum is dedicated to empowering individuals on their path to wellness and healing.

Dr. Philip Wasef, Board-Certified Psychiatrist
Dr. Philip Wasef is a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to helping individuals achieve lasting recovery from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. He earned his Medical Degree from Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and completed his Psychiatry residency at the University of South Florida in 2018. As a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, he is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. At Adaego Recovery Center, he contributes to the outpatient programs, supporting patients on their path to wellness through personalized treatment approaches and a focus on holistic, long-term healing



Dr. Hanh Vo PhD, LP, LPC-S
Dr. Hanh Vo is a licensed psychologist and a licensed professional counselor supervior (LPC-S) with over three decades of experience in the mental health field. She served as the Clinical Director for multiple psychiatric hospitals and IOP/PHP treatment facilities. She provides executive leadership in program development, clinical governance, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance across outpatient and intensive levels of care.
Dr. Vo has in-depth training in neuropsychology and specializes in traumatic brain injury (TBI), personal injury evaluations, memory impairment, substance use disorders, and trauma-informed care. Her work integrates neuropsychological testing and functional capacity analysis to assess injury-related psychological and cognitive sequelae for treatment planning, disability determination, and medico-legal documentation.
She is recognized for her systems-level leadership, culturally responsive practice, and expertise in managing complex co-occurring trauma, neurological, and substance-related conditions across hospital, recovery, legal, and community settings.

Vaughn M. Bryant, III, PhD, LMFT-S, LPC-S, LCDC-CCS
Dr. Bryant has been a mental healthcare provider, trainer, program developer and educator for over 30 years. He is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT-S), Professional Counselor (LPC-S) and Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC-CCS). He also holds Approved Supervisor status on all three of those professional license boards. Dr. Bryant earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology (1988), Master of Arts (MA) in Marriage and Family Therapy (1991) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology and Christian Counseling (2000). His career has included three decades of clinical service, clinical education and executive management experience in large corporate healthcare settings, substance use disorder treatment centers, a large military hospital, clinical pastoral care and as a professor in higher education.
Dr. Bryant is Clinical Consultant to Adaego Recovery Center. His role as Clinical Consultant has been to develop a clinical treatment program utilizing evidenced based best practices in the treatment of substance use disorder. Dr. Bryant has been on the frontline of the “opioid epidemic” helping persons with substance use disorder find support and recovery by engaging in effective substance use disorder treatment to achieve long term recovery and overall wellness in life.
The clinical program that Dr. Bryant has developed for Adaego Recovery will lead the client through three phases of treatment. Phase one is the “Getting Sober” phase where the client learns how to establish initial sobriety and abstinence from intoxicants. Phase two is the “Staying Sober” phase where the client learns how to reorganize their thoughts, behaviors and attitudes to achieve a recovery lifestyle. Phase three is “The Awakening” where the client applies their recovery lifestyle to all areas of their life in pursuit of wellness.

Babila Galega-Sabum, MBA, CPA
Babila has over 15 years of experience in Finance and Operations roles in Healthcare and other industries. His experience spans from financial statement audits, due diligence, and M&A strategy & operations. He also serves as an advisor to organizations on how to build and manage their growth objectives. Babila’s managerial experience brings value to Adaego Recovery by ensuring that Adaego Recovery operates efficiently, and provides the best level of care, while staying true to its core values.
