Intensive Outpatient Program includes at least 10 hours of treatment per week. IOP is appropriate for clients who have achieved sobriety, have entered into recovery and need continued support and counseling to prevent relapse. The IOP level of care is recommended for six to eight weeks. This level of care is offered as 3 hours of treatment services per day operating Monday through Friday.  Clients in the IOP level of care will attend two groups per day at least three days a week. The IOP level of care will include psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, case management, service coordination, referral, psychotherapy, patient education, recovery skill development, urine drug screening, relapse prevention and family counseling as appropriate.
